Axe Throwing Staff — what you'll do
- Teach customers proper throwing techniques so they throw to the best of their ability and have a safe, unforgettable experience
- Ensure all procedures, equipment needs and safety protocols are met consistently
- Keep the facility, lanes and equipment event-ready and sessions flowing smoothly
- Be the face of Hatchet House and represent our brand and passion for social sports
- Make every guest feel welcome with responsive, friendly and courteous service
- Maintain targets and axes: change damaged target boards, water targets, swap out damaged axes
- Assist the bar with pizza and small-plate prep when requested
Axe Throwing Staff — who we're looking for
- 16 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent (unless still completing)
- Customer service oriented; outgoing, assertive, reliable and dependable
- Comfortable in a fun, fast-paced environment; some computer skills for the POS and reservation system appreciated (we train)
- No prior axe throwing knowledge needed — initial and ongoing training provided
- Compensation: Hourly wage + tips
Bartender — what you'll do
- Educate customers on the beer, wine, seltzers and more available in the venue
- Maintain a clean bar before opening, while open and following closing
- Ensure all procedures, equipment needs and safety protocols are met consistently
- Be the face of Hatchet House and represent our brand and passion for social sports
- Make every guest feel welcome with responsive, friendly and courteous service
- Assist in pizza and small-plate prepping and cooking, and in merchandise restocking
Bartender — who we're looking for
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service oriented; outgoing, assertive, reliable and dependable
- Computer skills for the POS and reservation system appreciated (we train)
- No prior axe throwing knowledge needed — initial and ongoing training provided
- Compensation: Hourly wage + tips
Schedule and training
- Part-time and/or full-time
- Flexible schedule — evenings and weekends; open to individuals only available certain days or shifts. Weekends encouraged
- Ideally all employees are trained in both positions, Axe Throwing Staff and Bartender. If only interested in one, feel free to specify
