The indoor plan for a lake weekend
When the wind picks up on Leech Lake or the rain settles in over the cabin, Hatchet House keeps the weekend going indoors. Each group throws on its own fully enclosed lane, no sharing with strangers, and a coach walks everyone through the safety and technique briefing first.
Choose one, two or three hours. Two hours is the most popular session at $37 per person, and three hours at $49 is booked by reserving two online and extending at the lane.

More than axes
Two target styles run side by side: traditional straight grain, and projected end-grain targets with five electronic games including tic-tac-toe and a moving bullseye. The MultiSport Simulator bay fits up to eight players for $50 an hour, and darts, giant Jenga, bean bags and a hunt simulator fill the breaks.
Dinner is on the table
Keith's Old River Pizza delivers pizza and flatbreads to your table, alongside Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese, a chips, salsa and queso platter, and tabletop s'mores. The full bar covers beer, cider, seltzer, wine and cocktails, and no outside beverages are allowed. Large groups are encouraged to preorder.

Can kids come?
Yes. There is no strict age limit, but Hatchet House recommends throwers be at least 10 with a parent's permission, and restrictions may apply at peak and evening times.
Should we book ahead from out of town?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome when a lane is open, but lanes fill up, so a reservation guarantees your time after the drive.
How many people fit on a lane?
Each lane comfortably holds 2–5 throwers, and up to 6 if needed.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 48 hours ahead for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, you can take a gift card or reschedule.
